Because they can not agree on the split? Have you not read the millions of threads in NSB about this?

Manny fights Margarito/Cotto in november it should get more promotion then his fight with Clottey, Hopefully gets pretty high PPV numbers so when they go back to the negiotating table for a fight with Floyd in May,
He has a better chance of getting 50/50 split agreement from Mayweather.

martinez is way too much of a risk, floyd has never fought a prime fighter at his best weight and he isnt going to start now.

I think floyd will fight a lightwelter at 147, maybe judah again

I see no reason why floyd wouldn't fight Cotto and no reason why he shouldn't.
          [LIST]
Cotto is a better opponent than Margarito for Pac
Cotto is the only other big draw in PPV sales other than Pac and Floyd
Cotto is a warrior with good boxing skills and comfortable at 154 whereas Floyd will be out of his comfort zone
Cotto Vs Mayweather will make huge amounts of money

But to be honest i think floyd wins this easily

Margarito vs Pacquiao shouldn't be made Tony's a cheat and really just a punching bag with no defense or boxing skills proves nothing we don't all ready know.

well, I suppose I am being a bit harsh, lets just say while at 147 he has never done the above

mosley...39, past his prime even if he still is good

marquez....do I need to go on

hatton.....would have gotten credit like pac if he had the fight at 140

oscar.....coming off a lay off like mosley, past his prime

you know I aint hating, I dont support either but I am just saying it like it is. if he fought a younger oscar then he would have gotten more credit

I am starting to agree with this

EVERYTHING else is a disappointment unless they fight each other. sure we would watch it but still we would be annoyed.

                    Manny Pacquaio:

Oscar De La Hoya- Past Prime, Weight drained, Dumb ass weight agreement

Ricky Hatton- Nearly KO'd my Lazcano, Past Prime, PBF's Leftovers

                    Miguel Cotto-
Battered with Bricks by Margarito, Lucky against Clottey

Joshua Clottey- Was beaten by previous Opponent, One good Career win against washed up Past prime Zab Judah.

                    Floyd Mayweather Jr:

Zab Judah- Less then ONE year before fight Zab was Undisputed WW champion.

Carlos Baldomir- WBC, IBA, IBO WW title on the line, Number One WW at the time,

Ricky Hatton- Just KO'd Castillo (Who gave Floyd trouble TWICE), Called Floyd out and was undefeated at the time.

Juan Manuel Marquez- Arguably beat Manny twice, Ranked P4P #2 at the time.

Shane Mosley- Just Ko'ed Margarito (who destoryed Cotto) who Manny fought, also ranked #1 WW at the time.

Mosley ducked in 05 and 06. Only wanted fight when he wanted payday. Consensus #1 ww when floyd fought him.

Hatton moved up to fight for lineal 147 lb title. Why would floyd go down to 140?

Floyd took ODH fight as soon as offered. If ODH didn't offer until then how is it floyd's fault? He also did go up to 154 to fight ODH.

marquez 1st fight after 2 yr layoff. Could've fought better comp.
