Except when it comes to fighting Mosley I guess.

Forget Margarito then since Margarito was already destroyed by Mosley and let's not forget, lost to Williams. So just go after Williams.

      what about Floyd

I mean if he is challenging pacquiao for being a good fighter and being a good draw...why not challenge floyd...because if pacquiao is saying no...wouldnt the next best thing be to fight floyd...or challenge floyd...I dont get it...if pac is obviously going to say no...and your challenging him because he is arguably the best in the division and is a draw...shouldnt a challenge to floyd just be as legitimate for the exact same reason....yet williams isnt doing so....I mean if its for money...and recognition...a fight with floyd will also bring about the same results...if not..arguably better recognition and props from fight fans.

Funny how you guys werent saying that about Martinez when he turned down Paul twice.

Funny how when Martinez wants to fight Floyd its "brin him on"...but when Paul wants to fight the the p4p king hes ducking Martinez?

        ****ty ass posters.
THANK YOU. Sergio didnt want to fight Paul, in hoping that he could get lucky and land a fight with Floyd. Paul was campaigning to fight Sergio again on several occasions.

As for the people who keep saying...."paul fight someone your own size",.......uhhhhh maybe they should make a different divison for the Kiltchos since they tower over most. They should fight people thier own size right? O WAIT, in that division, height makes no difference only weight. GOTCHA

Where you start has no relevance to where you currently fight. Pacquiao is a welterweight and holds a belt. The 106 references are ridiculous.

Since when did time limits apply to where boxers fight? And Delahoya had not fought at 147 for seven years before fighting Pacquiao.

Now the fact Paul aint totally shutting Martinez out of the picture in this interview when he's asked about fighting him makes it easier for me to stomach what agenda he might be on. This sounds better than the garbage his promoter has been spewing which has caused a big backlash against him. I mean he called out Pac, sure. But I don't see why Pacquiao is held to different standards when it comes to fighting tough comp. I view Martinez and Wright as better wins than Cotto at 145 coming off a controversial decision over Clottey and Hatton who isn't that good. If he can get the fight with Pacquiao, I don't have a problem with it. But he definitely needs to rematch Martinez before the end of the year and let Pac and Top Rank do whatever. After he gets that monkey off his back, I'd love to see Pac fight P-Will for the Middleweight title or Martinez if he wins without a catch weight of course.

In my opinion Manny would fight Paul if he was a bigger draw, that is the only reason. Of course its a risky fight but if Paul was a ppv attraction Manny would take the fight.

Margarito has alot of mexican fans, Cotto also has a huge fanbase as well, thats the difference. Pwill has to work on his fanbase, his last 2 fights were not really impressive, Cintron outboxed him and many fans think he should have lost to Martinez as well or at least give him a rematch first.

Let Manny fight Margarito and meanwhile Paul can rematch Martinez or fight Berto and there is probably a chance for him to face the Pacman in 2011.

If Manny would fight Paul now they would get miserable PPV numbers, so next year Floyd would probably demand a 70:30 split in his favour if they discuss a megafight for 2011.

And 50-50 for a Martinez-Williams rematch is more than fair. Williams fucked himself up by not re-scheduling the fight with Pavlik and therefore, Martinez is the one with the title. I'm also of the opinion that Martinez will end up fighting a tougher opponent than Williams will if they don't sign to fight each other. I liked the fact Martinez said he was willing to fight Angulo. HBO should be willing to make that fight even if it means another loss on Angulo's record. That's the problem with the networks. They are infatuated with padded records, and it's not like Angulo wouldn't land any punches at all on Martinez. Pavlik is slower than Angulo is, and he was able to. So anything can happen.
