I've noticed that everyone calls out Pacquiao but no one calls out Mayweather. I guess everyone thinks they can beat him until they get hit. Also why doesn't Williams ever call out any middleweights? He always seems to call out welterweights who he towers over. Why doesn't he call out guys his own size.

Williams is the one holding up the fight by trying to get a Pacquiao fight...lol

Paul flat- out stated he'll give both Martinez and Cintron re-matches. Can't blame Paul just because Cintron decided to throw himself otta the ring, that's ridiculous.

Instead of fighting P.W. back to back, Martinez chose to fight Pavlik instead. (that's what I call a hoe move) On top of that Pavlik was suppose to fight P.W. not Martinez. Martinez was the one who lost to Paul.

It's funny how these chumps run from P.W. and then ya'll turn around and try an blame it on P.W. Cintron didn't have to quit after he threw himself otta the ring, but he's a certified quitter.

Boxing has weight divisions, not height divisions. If PWil can Make 147 than he's a welterweight like the rest of them. Just becuz everyone knows Pacquiao would get smashed to the ground doesn't mean PWil's a bully.

N Cintron JUMPED out the ring like a scared pansy n didn't deserve to win, and Martinez got out fought fair n square. He coulda won if he had the endurance to keep up the assault he put on in the early rounds, but... hit the gym little guy.

              This.

People tend to forget that Williams tried and tried to fight Pavlik, who kept pulling out. Then fought Martinez and wanted the rematch but Martinez chose Pavlik. So what does Williams do? Declares that he wants the winner (says he believes Martinez will win and is rooting for him to because he didn't believe Kelly would ever fight him), shows up for the fight, comes into the ring after, calls out Martinez endlessly afterwards (Sergio said Williams could wait as he would honor a Pavlik rematch) and now we say Paul is ducking? Nonsense. I believe this fight will get made but I don't begrudge Williams for calling out Pacquiao - he wants a big money bout. And why doesn't he deserve it? He has a better claim than Margarito, who he beat. Anyway, all of this talk will die down when the fight gets made and we see Martinez-Williams at the end of the year. I expect it to happen.

First and foremost, why shouldnt Paul drop down to 147lbs, get a scrap and make some $$$$$ if he can?? All of you that blast Paul for going to a smaller division are full of ****. You know good and damn well that if Sergio Martinez got a fight with Mayweather at 147 he would have taken it, and yall wouldnt have said a damn thing about it. So the whole "fight in your weight-class" argument means absolutely nothing anymore. Money talks.

There is NO WAY IN HELL you can tell me that Paul Williams is MORE menacing that Tommy Hearns at 147. I like Williams alot, but he would get MURDERED in the ring with Hearns; 5 rounds max. Welterweights have a better chance against Williams than they believe.

And speaking of disadvantages, have any of you seen Ali Funeka?? he is damn near eye level with Williams and he actually, somehow, by the grace of boxing Gods, gets fights AT 135-140 lbs. Based on alot of you guys' arguments, Funeka needs to be a Middleweight at least. That beanpole mofo is 6-1 and some change and NO ONE on this site has EVER gotten on his ass for fighting at a light weight. And dont give me the whole "thats his natural weight" BS either. If yall want to throw Williams up to 175+lbs just because of his height, Funeka needs to be thrown up in weight as well. And so should Caballero. He is Mad tall for a featherweight.

Paul is a PPV attraction IMO. The only reason Clottey is a "PPV attraction" is because Pacman made him one. I have a better chance of hitting the lottery than Clottey being a headlining PPV attraction. If the Williams-Pavlik fight happened when it should have, I felt as if that would have been PPV worthy. A Williams-Martinez PPV fight would make sense as well, if promoted the right way.
