    No defense....and Williams does? lol

Workrate....Margarito has the record for punches thrown.

Hes certainly a harder puncher, Williams throws a lot of pitty pat.
Williams fought margarito use that fight as a gauge. He outworked margarito eaily, and seemed much much faster. his defense is also ok when he uses volume. Also one punch wise Williams imo hits harder, since I have seen him have plenty one punch KOs.

A greeni nexperienced Williams easily beat Margarito while he was in his prime.

Williams doesn't have great defense but he has good reflexes and is hella tall. Margarito won't be able to move out of the way of any combo Pac throws. He'll be re-setting all night. Saying Williams throws a lot of pity pat punches is like saying Calzaghe is a slapper.
You could just as easily say that version of Williams doesnt exist either judging by his tentative showing against Cintron.

Williams' defence is awful, theres no two ways about it. His reflexes consist of throwing his head forward into punches. Margarito rolls with shots better.

Calzaghe is a slapper...lol wtf has that got to do with it?

Paul and Martinez was a classic. There styles are perfect. These two can beat anybody in boxing from 147 to 160 on any given night. I think Williams deserves the Pac fight more then Margarito though i dont understand that logic. He can fight Pac in LA, Texas, Las Vegas anywhere and its going to do huge numbers. Thats the biggest fight they can make with Mayweather on his break. He can come back and fight the winner. I think Williams has a great chance at beating both of them.

Paul has no business with pac in the ring. Actually, I would see Pac beating him brutally to the body. It ain't like Pwill is one to use his reach anyways and is very sloppy so...Deal with martinez who whooped ur azz and then come back

Before I saw Cintron vs Paul Williams all I hear was Williams was the most avoided fighter in boxing . wELL I must say I was not that impressed , he's very tall and has a long reach but he's not ready for the big time . He needs to go back and fight his two narrow wins again to prove something to me . Impressd with his height only in Alabama .

if anybody deserve a shot it is Williams, he beat Margarito in his PRIME when Margarito was called "the most avoided fighter in boxing"

as for Williams fighting people his size...I am sorry but when did boxing divisions add a height requirement? Hearns was 6'1 I don't remember Sugar Ray or Hagler running from Hearns because he was "Too Big", even little Aaron Pryor took on Hearns in Amateurs and he beat him, so that size **** is just another excuse

stop trying to label this guys as "one of the greatest" if they are not willing to take on all comers because the legends of the past took on all comers during their ERA and that goes for both Pacman AND Mayweather
