Peter's going to jump on that payday, I'm sure he already sent Wlad a copy of his signature for K2 to paste onto whatever contract they feel like offering him.

I'm just not excited for this fight at all. Guess i'll go watch some of Peter's recent fights to see if it changes my mind.

        Blah.

Better yet, James Toney will be in shape from his UFC camp, why not fight him?
                1. Adamek is already scheduled to fight Michael Grant on August 21.

                2. Boytsov and Solis aren't ready for Wlad, neither of them would take the fight.

                3. Toney was completely dominated by Peter.

Peter is a good replacement. He's the IBF #2 contender, next in line after Povetkin, and he's coming off an impressive 2nd round KO over Nagy Aguilera (who was coming off a 1st round KO over Maskaev). Peter looked very strong and fast at 237 lbs against Aguilera, he was nearly 30 lbs lighter than he was for the Chambers fight.

Wlad/Peter I was a great fight. Wlad/Peter II will also be entertaining while it lasts.

                Wlad by KO.

And I think there will be more interest in the US for Peter-Wlad II than for Povetkin-Wlad, because Peter is much better known.

Peter is the best opponent out there right now, The first fight was close and he did KO Aguilera in an eliminator. Other than him, There is only Povetkin and Haye. Neither of which want the fight and neither of which are ready for a fight like that. But after this fight Wladimir is really going to struggle to find a reasonable opponent for his next fight. Haye and Povetkin wont take the fight now and I doubt that this will change in 6 months time.

The only possible option would be Adamek. I think that would be appealing but Tomasz isnt a natural Heavyweight and I think his people are looking more towards Haye than Klitschko.

It's not looking good for Wladimir, But as long as he keeps winning then he will get the recognition he deserves as the best Heavyweight of this era. After all, It's not his fault that Haye and Povetkin won't fight him. You can only beat who they put in front of you.
