Povetkin ducks Wladimir yet again

Haye and Povetkin blatantly ducking Wlad just shows how dominant he is right now. It's a compliment.Comment

It's true.
Klitschko's camp received a letter from the IBF this afternoon, confirming they have dropped Povetkin from his mandatory position, because he failed to sign the contract within the 15 day period according to IBF regulations.Last edited by The Hammer; 07-21-2010, 07:16 PM.Comment

Sam Peter number 2 ? goshComment

Removing Povetkin from mandatory doesn't mean Sam Peter is officially in for September 11th does it? Would the IBF remove Povetkin and immediately replace Sam Peter on 3 month notice without any contracts being signed or negotiated?Last edited by Boxing Scene; 07-21-2010, 07:09 PM.Comment

No, but now it's up to Wlad. I really wish Adamek had been the #2. ****ing hell, I don't want to spend money on a PPV with Sam Peter in it. Id rather watch him fight ****ing Boytsov.Comment

Wlad and Vitali are now both available with no obligations to fight a specific opponent.
Man up Haye, take one of them.
There's 4 fights I was looking forward to later this year:
Floyd v Pacman
Bradley v Alexander
Ward v Dirrell
Klitschko v Haye
It pisses me off that only one is coming into fruition so far.
Haye v Klitschko would at least make the next half of the year pretty decent for boxing, if not it's gonna be pretty dull and shameful to the sport that only one of these 4 exciting fights is going to happen this year despite the fact that 3 of them have been touted since the beginning of last year (well, Floyd v Pac and Haye v Klit at least).Comment
