Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Vows: My Trash Talking Days are Done

Fury, 22, told Paul Foley of Boxrec News that his constant chat was a ploy, a means of getting himself noticed by the fans; with the job now well and truly done, Tyson has vowed to let his fists do the talking. That's a good step forward, but now he needs a good trainer to show him how to box properly, use his height advantage and such.

It's kind of a shame though. He was funny with his trash talking.

That twitter exchange between him and Andre Dirrell was classic stuff

He needs to get into shape. If he can't do that at 22 he won't be able to do it later on.

Fury just needs to fight better opponents. He can talk all the **** he likes if he backs it up.

Well if he isn't trash talking he can focus more time on punching himself in the face.

One way or the other the only lasting contribution this guy will make to the sport is in the form of humor.

ive watched all of his fights a couple times & hes actually pretty funny.not to good of a boxer but there is something there.he justs needs a legit trainer who can motivate him.he is a new father so he hasnt gone too far from home(cant blame him)but if he wants to make it bigger,he needs to fight all over europe, north america, etc.start by cleaning up the domestic scene & then the euro scene.sexton, chisora, dallas, olubamiwo, even price are natural targets for him.his dancing to the ring was ridiculous but now i look back & actually laugh...he did a good job to get noticed...now work hard & prove your doubters wrong.

I'd really like to see how Fury would do against Tye Fields
