floyd can **** on about PPV numbers in the next negotiations, but im damn sure pacman is going to earn a shed load more in this fight after the camel jockeys have paid big and no doubts will offer an even bigger package for floyd VS pacman which uncle bob will use in the negotiations to bring it to a 50-50 or whatever.
pacman is watering down his stock in my eyes. clottey now margarito, whilst both warriors, im afraid there was really only 1 fight left for pacman and that was floyd jr and i think the same for floyd, there is only pacman left...everthing else is just retirement feed money which i dont blame them for but just a shame...........im sure in 20 years time it wont be seen that way if pacman can take another belt in another weight class...however right here today i cant get excited about margarito...but im sure uncle bob and pacmans bank manager can

Absolutely disgusted by this fight for a multitude of reasons.
1. Margarito is a confirmed cheat, currently unlicensed anywhere in the USA. If he is supposedly trying to repair his reputation in the USA in hopes of getting a license reinstated, how does taking 2 fights outside of the USA AND trying to circumvent the CSAC that suspended you in the first place represent someone trying to "repair his image". If anything, everything Margs has done has been the exact opposite of what someone in his position should be doing to try to repair their image.
2. How in the world is a guy that has one fight in the past 16 months and is currently suspended go from out of the rankings to being ranked #1 after fighting a tomato can, by not one but TWO sanctioning orgs?
3. What disgusts me most of all is that I can see Arum's thinking in all of this: Fight the fight out of the US and no matter the outcome the Margarito "situation" will resolve itself. Either Margs gets beaten by Pacquiao and once beaten any luster for a Margs/Cotto rematch will pretty much be gone and any other potentially big matchups for Margs will lose whatever luster they would have had, so the not being licensed issue becomes a non-issue and he probably never fights in the US again.
I can totally see the wheels turning in Arums head though, as it relates to a potential Margarito upset. I'm sure Arum's thinking is that either way it works out for him b/c if by some miracle Margarito wins then suddenly he holds all the power and state commissions will be jumping to reinstate him b/c he would suddenly be the top dog.
Basically either Margs loses and there is no need to worry about getting him licensed again, or he wins and suddenly holds all the chips at the table and will get his license reinstated in short order. That scenario absolutely sickens me. For a guy to never apologize for cheating, plead ignorance, fight outside the US during the suspension, try to circumvent the CSAC, then get a fight with the biggest draw in boxing...and potentially win and hold all the power for reinstatement and get his license reinstated for doing everything WRONG during his suspension is a serious black eye for the sport if that were to happen.

Floyd just tarnished his legacy even more.
COTTO gunning for PACQUIAO, MARGARITO gunning for PACQUIAO, JUAN MANUAL MARQUEZ gunning for PACQUIAO, PAUL WILLIAMS also and now BRADLEY. These are all MEN who don't stop striving. If FLOYD wasn't a ***** he would have accepted the PAC fight!!

It appears Arum knows that this fight will do horrible ppv's. Notice when he says "they will take the ppv risk", referring to Dubai. TopRank and Pacquiao are getting payed upfront so they dont care how bad the ppv is. Dubai and these oil guys are getting played big time and will probably lose millions

Im sure cheato will have no problem with getting his ass beat for 12 rounds because this will be the biggest paycheck he will ever receive. Wouldnt be surprised if he decided to retire after this. Damn Shame how this is going to play out.
