WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan spoke with hometown paper, the Bolton News, and said his next fight on December 11 is almost sure to come against the winner of Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Juan Diaz. That all depends on who wins. Diaz has no desire to move up to 140-pounds and the fight against Khan is not that marketable. Marquez is the big favorite to win next Saturday. Most regard him as the frontrunner to face Khan.

Khan is way too big for Marquez even with his dodgy chin. He is also too quick for the old Marquez now. Guy is a very solid 5'10" which is very big even for 147. Hell, Margarito is 5'10! Even Clottey etc are a couple inches smaller than that. Khan has the perfect height, build to go up to 160, 168. He just has no chin to speak of!

I agree...Khan is a wuss...talking like hes a bad ass that he is going to talk to GBP about making a fight with Bradley and then insisting on fighting Marquez...He badley wants Marquez that he is hanging on marquez huevos (wue--voes)...Be the fighter that you say you are and fight..maidana, bradley or if ortiz...this is boxing...then box, don't try to promote your own fights.
