Im not really any to be honest. Sorry to be un-categoriseable (if thats a word), but i dont fit into any of those perfectly. The closest would be a "fan". But i have few fights on tape, know more than most i speak to about the sport, and watch any fight even if its an amateur fight. Having said that i have never been to a fight and cannot tell you what happened on a tuesday fight night and what round the dude got knocked out in.

Im an "in betweener" if thats a category i could add to the list.

What Type Of Boxing Fan Are You?

I feel I have a little bit of all the qualities listed, but "I love to see mutha****a's get knocked out", but I love the technique of it as well and the sport of it. I also use it as a visual guide for to see what can and cannot be done in a one on one fight between two individuals. I know that boxing is not street fighting, but it's interseting to see what a couple of foot movements, head movements and well placed punches can do to a person. I think that is some good **** to know...So I am a diehard boxing fan at it's purest form. When I watch boxing on Telemundo, I don't even turn the sound down anymore!!!!

I love the sport. The only thing I have no interest in is the business side. Sanctioning bodies, promoters, site fees, blah, blah, blah. I don't read anything that pertains to that portion.

I have been a fan of every type of fighter you can think of....

Mostly....I really love to talk about the sport from when I first got into it - the 80's.
I don't know if those fighters were necessarily better than those of today & before then....but those guys were magic to me. I'm sure my age played a big part in it.

I've been to a great deal of fights. From cheapo amateur cards, to seeing Tito at the Garden.

I'd say I'm an expert boxing fan since I've watched almost every boxing match telvised since 1990.
