This fight needs to happen, Paul Williams shouldn't be going down to 147, if he was going to change weight at all the guy should eat a ****ing sandwhich and go up to Light Heavyweight.

I think they should do more of this and have even harder lines since they are buying these fights- if fighters don't want to get in the ring for money fights that fans want to see, then they can't fight on HBO (even though that might work in Showtime's favor).

And I think they need to condense all of the alphabet organizations/belts and make mandatory fights and challenges. Someone has to be in charge, the animals are running the zoo right now and it's been hurting the sport for far too long.
When you look at the cases you mention, The Pacquiao vs. Mayweather farce and taking the best heavyweights off the screen despite high rates, I think HBO should maybe take their hands off promoting and dirty boxing politics and concentrate on broadcasting. And if I was Paul Williams I would not at all be pleased with have Ross Greenburg to decide my career path and in which I should fight.

        Paul no show

Paul has no interest in a rematch with Martinez, he claims to be the most avoided fighter, but he clearly has to get that unfinished business with Martinez before he can claim anything against anyone. Let's not forget that although Cintron leaped out of the ring, williams was behind on all scorecards before the crazy event. Williams have nothing to do at welterweight and as he gets older it will be very hard for him to make that weight.

Although I had Martinez winning the first fight, I think he could get a clear win this time around, he knows how to fight Williams now, maybe Paul thinks this too.

I think it's a shame Martinez only started boxing at 20, his peak is coming so late, if he started earlier he could have been a nailed on hall of famer.

P-Will needs to rematch Sergio. Neither Mayweather nor Pacquiao will give him the fight he wants.

i dont see either fighters knocking the other out, so it will go to a decision

as of right now, i like martinez winning by a close decision
