    Same result.
    lol basically.

I think they'll get it done.

There are really no other great options for both. Unless you throw Dzinziruk and Angulo in the mix.

I'm liking what HBO has been doing lately, they're taking a larger role in making fights that are more bankable and by transference, more appealing to fans. Thye gave the Klitzchkos(sp) marching orders, they took a central role in trying to put the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight together, and now they're letting Williams know what he has to do. I think they should do more of this and have even harder lines since they are buying these fights- if fighters don't want to get in the ring for money fights that fans want to see, then they can't fight on HBO (even though that might work in Showtime's favor).

And I think they need to condense all of the alphabet organizations/belts and make mandatory fights and challenges. Someone has to be in charge, the animals are running the zoo right now and it's been hurting the sport for far too long.

You were calling Martinez a duck before they even got to the table.

Now its been revealed that Williams isnt keen on the fight and you're all diplomatic....LOL like I said, full of ****.

I'm really hesitant to believe this but it's starting to make sense... I think Paul is getting a little unsure about fighting at the higher weights.

He was lucky to get out of the Martinez fight with a win after getting knocked down in the first round... not a flash KD either, he was stunned.

He appeared to get rocked by Cintron right before he threw him out of the ring.

Now he wants to go back down to WW, a division he abandoned two years ago because he couldn't get a fight back then? When both Pac and Mayweather camps have basically said flat out that they won't fight him? And he's got HBO begging him to sign on the dotted line for a shot at the lineal middleweight championship?

PWill is either scared or ******ed. Pick your poison.

It all depends on what happens with Mayweather, Alot of people believe that since the Pacquiao fight isnt going to happen then that will likely be Floyd's next fight. I'm not sure though, He isnt a natural welterweight so going up another two divisions proberbly isnt ideal. But we'll see, That would be a big fight if it happened.

If not then we will see this rematch with Martinez and Williams, Which is something that everybody is excited about. I think it would be better for boxing if Williams and Martinez had a rematch because Floyd would just vacate the belt, Martinez-Williams would be another great fight and would give us some clarity in the Middleweight division. Let the two best american based Middleweights go at it and then the winner can unify with WBA champ Felix Sturm sometime next year.

Sounds good, except for the fact he was signed to fight Pavlik and Kelly pulled out twice. oh! Lets forget about him going toe to toe with Margarito also.

Win or lose, the Martinez rematch would be the best choice
for Williams career in so many ways. Williams, Berto and all
these new jack cats have to understand that they can't call
shots or demand anyone to fight them because they have no
real marketing value. Best thing would be for Paul to fight any
top name he could and try to win to build up his rep and stats.
