Remember the humble 130 lb Floyd? The one that cried after winning his first belt. The one that fought 3 times a year. I think I've finally pinpointed the moment in which that Floyd Mayweather died. I remember reading that Floyd wanted 10 to 15 million to fight ODLH and Arum told him that he'd never get that kind of money. Arum also told Floyd that floyd would never be a cash cow in boxing because of his style of boxing. I think at that point in time, Floyd changed from a humble young man to just wanting to prove Bob Arum wrong while rubbing it in Bobs face. Floyd is my favorite boxer no matter what, but I do see that he feels as though he is bigger boxing. I knew that if Floyd didn't fight Pac, it wasn't due to fear, it was strictly Floyds ego. If everyone remembers back when Floyd and Shane had their first press conference, Floyd told everyone that other fighters had to fight 3 and 4 times a year just to get noticed, but when Floyd Mayweather fights, its like the Super Bowl, it only happens once a year and everybody wants to see it. Floyd is in the drivers seat of boxing right now without a doubt. But one wrong turn can get your ass carjacked...
I think Bob Arum made Floyd the way he is...

Honestly, the worst thing to happen to Floyd was the gift decision he got over Castillo in their first bout. Had he lost he wouldn't have his undefeated status to keep his value up. Instead, he'd have to fight like everybody else. And with his talent and skills, I think he would have done extremely well.Comment
