I thought u gys would try to kill me for my post against SRR,I really liked the tactful disagrence, thats what makes this site so great. Someone spoke of his fight with Lamotta, Lamotta was more like Gatti, you see how PBF ****d Gatti, the fighters i mentioned would have been smart enough to out box SRR except Hearns, who maybe could have KO'd him.

LaMotta and Gatti are on two completely different planes of existence. Bad comparison...

Ray Robinson had one of the greatest chins that the sport has ever seen...theres not one guy you mentioned that would have KOed him. If there the slight chance for a KO, sure, because anything could happen in any fantasy fight, but Rays chin was otherworldly.

Hearns was a good fighter at 160 and up, but he was nowhere near what he was at 147 and 154. Robinson would have made short work of Hearns at 160.

well, i like gatti, but he's no lamotta. not even close.

lamotta woulda have given pbf much more trouble than gatti.
gatti's style is kinda in no man's land right now; he's not a speedy
boxer like floyd, judah, ssm, and he's not an in your chest pounder like
            lamotta or hatton.
so, his style is sorta in the middle, a style that
            guys like floyd pick apart.

lamotta would be in floyd's chest, not only that, the man
had a face of granite, so, lamotta would give floyd
a hard time just like he did srr (tho he's prolly lose to pbf a bunch of times like he did to srr).

but, back to srr, thing is, he has all the skills of the fighters
you mention. his speed is just as good or better than roy in his prime,
he's willing to brawl just like hagler and he could punch like hearns.
it's hard to give him his due cuz the film on him is so ****ty, and even
when it's not, the angles are horrible.
for example, i'm in baltimore now, at like 6pm tonight espn classic
showed srr vs turin and the fight was perfectly clear but the camera was so far away and the angles ******, so you can't appreciate what he did.
it was hard to gauge his speed and see him counter, but really, he
            was awesome.
back in the day he was doing all the cool **** slicksters like pbf and mosely do.
i don't think it would be possible to outbox srr.
so, if hagler can get him to stand and trade, he'd be closest
to beating srr. but let's not forget, he was beating maxim before
heat exhastion got him. so, his power and chin are sick (he's never
been knocked out) and 16 of his 19 losses came after he was 34 and of those 12 after he was 40! unless i am mistaken, the maxim fight was the only loss where he didn't go the distance.

i think he beat like 20 world champs and 12 hall of famers...

to me, it doesn't get better than srr. he's timeless.

wasnt graz, or carmen, or basilio

was named Rocky (Something), Rocky Castillani maybe? something that started with a C, was a cut up white dude that appeared to be a boxer puncher, he seriously landed some hard bombs on robinson, im assuming that robinson was out of his prime when he fought this guy, although he looked young..

Rocky Castellani I'm guessing, from a quick check at boxrec.com.

Also I hope these LaMotta vs. PBF matchups are in a P4P sense because LaMotta was a bulky middleweight who struggled to meet the limit and fought the occasional heavyweight while Mayweather is a junior welterweight. LaMotta would ass**** little Mayweather in anything but a fantasy P4P match.

Marvelous Marvin Hagler would have TKO'd the p4p #1 of all time.
