So again, how do you explain the gag order that Floyd's camp had acknowledge themselves. How do you explain Floyd's camp not saying anything at all for several weeks that the whole time Arum was talking about the status of the negotiations. How do you explain Floyd himself not refuting the negotiations the day after the deadline and goes on record saying that he does not want to fight Manny right now.

Ellerbe was adamant because they realize that they ****ed themselves and they're on damage control mode right now. And more importantly, Flyod's image is certainly damaged and questioned after this debacle that they created.

only thing is he didn't refute nor confirm there was in fact negotiation. he simply did what floyd does and bring up not fighting if he doesn't get his way.

A gag order so that proper negotiating could takre place, but it never got past talks.

How can you call this a negotiation when Arum himself admitted he talked to no one for Team Mayweather or Goldenboy. That is not a negotiation, if ANYTHING, that is dealling with a mediator so that you can negotiate properly.

also, why no mention on what was actually agreed to or sent to mayweather. why not say that pacquiao has already signed the contract if terms were agreed to and met. Why the rush for a Nov date which is 4 months away? why so hush on that....smell like BS to me!

They're not going to reveal terms because they are still negotiating. That's why Arum was careful not to openly offend Mayweather by saying things like 'I'm sure he has reasons for not fighting right now, maybe it's the situation with his uncle', 'don't be too harsh on Floyd' etc. Arum/Top Rank, Greenburg/HBO, and DLH/Schaefer/Haymon/GBP ALL want this fight to push through, there's just way too much money involved. The terms and details of the negotiations will be secret until it is clear that Floyd does not want the fight before, now, or ever.

There is a rush because this is the biggest fight in the history of the sport (financially). There was talk that a 30,000 seat arena would be built in Vegas by Steve Wynn to accomodate the match. The promoters need time to sell the fight through ads, sign endorsement deals, get the TV rights worked out. They have to plan press conferences around Pacquiao's Congressional schedule. All of these things take time and they can't waste any of it waiting all summer for some diva to grow some balls. They gave him a deadline, he's on 'vacation'.

Everyone who matters in this soap opera (DLH, Schaefer, Greenburg, Arum) is on record that negotiations were taking place and there was a gag order in place. Then chest rubber Ellerbe comes along and denies it and the nuthugger brigade jumps all over it.

Question- How does Mayweather not even wanting to talk about a fight with Pacquiao look better than negotiations falling apart over disagreements? That's just plain avoiding/ducking him if what Ellerbe said is true.

Like I said for Oscar it was ego but under the meaning of hypothetical it would fall under supposed or assumed. Oscar put his foot in his mouth then had to retract. Wasn't the first time and wont be the last. PBF never said anything so how could he be lying? And furthermore what about Arum clearly saying he sent a contract to Schaefer agreed to by GB that was sent directly to Floyd to review and sign, then he turned around and said he never spoke to Schaefer nor Team PBF. What's wrong with that picture? Oscar has never been a primary player in PBF negotiations.

I have things to do so I'm gonna leave with facts. The fact is:

• All that stood between PBF/PAC in March was OST that Pac refused to take.
• Floyd clearly took the first offer off the table
• Manny tried to play Floyd for ****** by ignoring his taking the first offer off the table.
• Floyd is the bigger draw and brings in much bigger dollars
• There was suppose to be a gag order that Arum nor Team Pac never respected probably because there wasn't any negotiating going on.
• This fight was never meant to happen it was always Top Prank's plan to fight Cotto 2 or Cheato (who should be banned for life)
• Manny says he goes by the commission but is going against them by fight Cheato.
