I don't know if I'd say he was getting worked by Hasegawa, though he was behind. I thought one of the round was close (nothing of real significance or note was landed, possibly the second?) and Montiel had started to throw in the fourth.
Hasegawa was fighting aggressively, but to be fair to Montiel, Hasegawa often leaves himself open to be countered when he (Hasegawa) is delivering his punches. Montiel set up the left hook(s) that hurt him initially pretty well.
Either way, a rematch would be welcomed by me I thought the fight was getting interesting in fourth before the stoppage.
