It doesn't take history to find who is lying, because just now is obvious who is lying! The Mayweather camp should stop talking much BS because the public will not buy it!!!

Floyd is doing what he wants to do. I can't say I blame him because most people hate him anyway. He won't change public opinion, and he knows that.

It's gotten to the point where people will believe anything Arum says because it fits their agenda. Floyd's team isn't very credible right now, and after reading the things Pac's team has been saying neither are they.

Arum has his own agenda. He is supposed to be a business man and he's been in the business long enough to know that running his mouth to the media is not how to get a fight. Arum got whatever he wanted out of this situation for now. Meanwhile Floyd will continue to do him because he was hated anyway, nothing has changed there.

Arum thinks he played this one beautifully. I think he tried to put Floyd in a position where he has to defend himself, and Pac can go on and fight Cotto or Marg. Then TR can say "Floyd wasn't ready so we took the next best option", when really Arum wanted it this way all along. More money for him, and once again Floyd is the fall guy.

That's just my opinion, but ehh.. what do I know?

Quit whining, Pacquiao got a lot of flack for refusing Floyd's OST. FMJ is not above criticism for this stunt.

This is embarassing. Why not say that they don't want to fight Pacquiao. Simple. Now they are trying to save face. Everyone knows who's Lying, and that is the Mayweathers camp.

There was some kind of talks going on between Arum and Greenburg and a proposal was made by Arum for the fight. Now is this really negotiating being that Floyd, GBP and Team Mayweather weren't directly involved in a back and forth dialogue trying to hammer out a deal, I would say no but thats debatable based on your definition of the word negotiation. Was there some kind of talks about a possible fight through a third party yes, could it have been one sided yes, was it negotiation in the traditional sense where both parties were involved and actively trying to make the fight like last time, i would say no.

Either way as much as you guys argue and pick sides, the fight is more than likely not going to happen till next year. You guys will still be arguing about thesame thing and no one will agree to disagree. In the mean time a bunch of spoiled millionaires who can afford to play games with each other will be doing so until they feel like fighting each other when all other possibilities have been exploited and they are left with just each other.

You guys dont seem to get it. Mayweather and Arum had no intention of making this fight in 2010. Floyd for his own reasons and Arum for his own reasons, I'm not sure about Manny he probably wanted to fight Mayweather but him AND the public needed to believe that the fight is actually trying to be made because that's what is demanded. The 2 sides made up a phony negotiation and were in agreement that they wouldn't fight in 2010 but only pretend to try. Arum still needs to fight Margarito and probably even rematch Cotto and then make the fight with Floyd when its gotten possibly bigger n he's milked his own stable for all their value. Mayweather in return only tends to fight once a year, he's been struggling with injuries and joint pains for years n his body isn't capable of going through more than 1 or 2 hard camps a year...he knows he wont be at his best if he fights Manny that soon n doesnt wana risk it. He also knows Manny's agressive style means he takes punishment n has at best 1 more yr before he falls off his absolute peak (Arum knows it too). Manny's gonna fight Margarito n maybe Cotto again, take some more punishment, fall off his absolute peak n then the only value he will have to Arum is the one big fight against Floyd which Floyd will be happy to accept because he gets his rest and fights Manny after the blade's edge has been blunted. Floyd's got money, he doesnt need to fight that often, not only are his paychekcs nearly twice as big as Manny's, he also keeps more of it while Manny has to give 30% of his to Arum, I also wouldn't be suprised if he's being ripped off by Koncz and also loses a lot of money thanks to his huge entourage that use him. As for the comments Oscar made? All part of the decoy of making the media think the fight could actually happen n Schafer correcting him is part of the same thing to make it seem the gag order in place is beign respected. Floyd said nothing wrong, he said he's taking the yr off just as he said after the Mosley fight, n his ppl are now doing a clean up job to save him from being called a coward in the time being as he sits off the rest of 2010.

Didn't Mayweather say he was going to take TWO years off?? So what you're saying is that Arum planned this so that Manny might fight Mayweather after his peak had passed (although Manny's peak would also have passed) and in some subtle way persuaded this supreme egotist, to take TWO years off, even though he must know that he will have probably passed his peak.. That doesn't sound right or logical.....somehow. The conclusion I come to is.........................

Many people (myself included) took this to mean that Team mayweather never responded. That was not the case. There was a back-n-forth dialogue between the camps.
