I have been to Dubai many times, and the Filipinos there for the most part are struggling. Don't know if the workers can drop thousdands for a ticked, because NOTHING is cheap in Dubai.

Who the **** is this guy? Even if it was Buboy ***** Fernandez I would be like "eh is Bob Arum really communicating this **** to Buboy?" Now it's this mother****er I never heard of? He might be right but it's only like 2 choices so he has a 50% chance.

This is not hate, but the PPV will tank miserably. Not because of Pac's popularity or any perceptions of Margarito. But simply because the fight will take place eith an 8 to 11 hour time difference from the world's largest PPV market.

11pm in Abu Dhabi is 3pm in New York. And, more importantly, noon on the West Coast. Nevada and California has the largest concentration of Pacquiao fans.

You can't just ignore the mainstream boxing public, either. The casual fan isn't buying a fight in the middle of the day.
It'll be on in the morning in Abu Dhabi in order to cope with the time difference, not unlike when Hatton fought Tzsyu at 4am in Brittan for the Showtime audience. Arum stated this before.

The economics in Abu Dhabi are somewhat different than in Dubai.

BTW - coincidence - my firm is purchasing a controlling stake in (one of?) the largest Filipino companies.

Dude you quoted is full of it, of course it will be a big event locally, for the Abu Dhabis and beyond.

not optimistic about the venue too but they made rumble in the jungle at 4am. abu dhabi is a couple hours ahead i believe so it'll be easier at 6am.
