Only 24-hours after the infamous deadline had passed, Floyd Mayweather Jr. briefly discussed the reasons behind his decision to pass on a November fight with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. For the last few weeks, Mayweather remained silent while the entire boxing community was anxious to see if he was going to sign a proposal to fight Pacquiao on November 13.

Not sure what to think. Normally Floyd is extremely outspoken. Is it Uncle? Could his father be that ill? Or is he really that shaken by a Pacquiao fight? I tend to think it is not the latter, I hope it is not the latter, but we simply do not know. Whatever it is, unless he speaks directly to the accusations leveled at him, he will continue to be smeared by fans and detractors.

Floyd has backed up everything he has ever said first it was Brian Kenny saying Floyd was scared of Baldomir and Hatton and you seen what happen with those two then they said he was scared of Mosley you seen what happen what happen to his ass now they say Floyd is scared of Pacquiao why? Because he is not fighting him right when you want him to thats means he scared? This is all a ploy to continue building the fight. Floyd can sit back and have a nice long vacation cuz he knows the Manny fight will be there for him next year....and he'll make 50 mil easy. Arum knows the same so keep Manny busy keep his name going and what better way to do that than to have him beat up Margarito in Monterrey Mexico in front of 75 thousand + fans and another 1 million PPV buys. Even leading to more momentum for early 2010. Don't be suprised if Floyd fights someone as well...
