I don't think he can handle a grueling battle at this stage in his career. He is 33 and that should be considered as well. I think he loses a fight against a fighter who won't let him breathe. When I'm watching a fight, I pay attention to every aspect and try to be fair while doing so. MANNY wants this fight and is a very passionate fighter right now, and that could mean long night if they ever fought.
losing your epoints isnt a RISK.

    im talking a REAL RISK.

how much money are you putting down on manny that he beats floyd, since you are so confident

      Being honest......

Hey, I'm being honest here. I'm one of the few posters on this site who can be realistic. When I give an opinion, it's from the heart. You have to respect that. Everything I've said to this point is at least, a possibility. NO? I like both fighters. What makes me lean toward MANNY at this point, is mainly DESIRE. He fights with passion and pride and for competition. MONEY is the last thing he fights for. He's the underdog of course, but he is down to earth. FLOYD is unrealistic and down right mean most of the time and very defensive for whatever reasons. I like fighters who take risks and will fight anyone. The word throw back is how I explain fighters like COTTO, MANNY, WILLIAMS, BERTO, BRADLEY even. These guys I root for because they fight to see who is the best. CORRECT? They keep boxing alive. We don't need anymore negative press about this sport. And already, we are getting negative press because this fight isn't happening right now. I know for a fact that FLOYD isn't afraid of MANNY. He's the naturally bigger guy and he knows this. But at the same time, he didn't sign because he knows it would be dangerous if his heart isn't in it. HOPEFULLY this post won you over as far as my position on the whole issue between the two fighters. P.S. I WOULD BET NO MORE THAN $100dollars cash. This is the first fight I've ever agreed to bet on. LoL.

ive put 500 on floyd, already(two people 250 each.) i have a two grand total im using as betting money(on floyd.) its not easy to find people putting money down on pac.

when they fight, floyd is going to make easy work of pac and i expect people to discredit floyds win, right away. b.c he will make the fight look easy.

cant wait for this to go down. i wish pac was going to be the betting fav so i could put money(id put down a few grand) on the books and come up, big time.

Say what ever you want but bob arum made sure this fight didn't happen by talking ****. No one from floyd's camp said anything puplic. Arum open his mouth saying floyd had until this date to do this or that. What man you know that is truly the bigger draw would let arum push him into doing what arum wants him to do. That is one of the reasons floyd dropped his ass as his promoter. Arum is to blame for this fight not happening but we all know floyd is going to take the heat.

No winners = lots of losers (the fans)

Floyds only just back from his near 2 year break and now he wants another one?? What about coming back to clean up, he got the lightweight champ and a not so mobile mosley (not knocking the wins btw, impressive) but now the biggest fight ever (potentially) is staring him right in the face and hes bailing out?? I think his reasons are very weak, hes just not really interested in the fight

Its not as if arum will withhold floyds money, the contract will be great for floyd im sure and he will make 50 mil plus depending on ppv numbers, who knows what the final figure could be, blaming arum is a red herring imo, easy way out

floyd is gonna come off looking bad. just wait until the mainstream sports media get a hold of this today.
Clayton, I said the discontent was going to increase against Mayweather, and I accused him of keeping the negotiations going in bad faith... but in terms of PR, it's still not going to hurt Mayweather in the areas where he truly cares: the fight will still be able to be made should he want it, and he'll still be able to make lots of money, if not more, because of the anticipation factor.

im awake. i just dont have my head up either boxers arse.
if the fight happens and its a BIG "IF" - then im backing Floyd to give Manny a beating. Im guessing thats the part you dont like.
If Floyd doesnt force Manny to take the tests, then i expect Floyd to get knocked out, not just beaten, but badly knocked out.

I dont see Manny getting past the tests and I believe he's taking dat dere cell tech....so ...until then, i'll park my conversation with you
