    • i cannot believe floyd just did this. i really cant. this is the worst possible move for him. the press is going to bury him. its gonna be a public relations disaster for floyd. he should have declined the fight based on testing, money, or something. not based on interest level. this is the worst thing he could have said. bad pr strategy.

      • Well this means I have no choice but to shift to being more mad at Floyd. It would be one thing if he said that the contract wasn't fair, but after all this junk simply saying that he doesn't feel like fighting? Unreal. I'm still mad at all of Pac's team (particularly Arum), but now they only get much less of the blame.

        • @Awara.. the difference between Floyd Jr. and David Haye is Floyd Jr. didn't show up with a t-shirt of him holding Pacman's head, hollering how he will beat the living crap out of him and then run for the hills. Floyd Jr. just didn't say anything...

          • @Random, I am mad at EVERYONE!?!?! We are the losers here and now we get to look forward to the big PPVs closing out the year as Mosley vs. Mora (pure junk) and Pacquiao vs. Marg or Cotto II (not pure junk but not good either). This sucks for all of us, no matter if you are a Jr fan or a Pac fan. We all LOSE!!!!

Yup. But what do you want him to do. Lick his boots. **** Money. Boxing goes on without him. Another anecdote in his legacy.

Other than Manny, there is still Martinez and P-Will. So, in my mind, if he beats Manny (which is a 50-50 fight in my opinion), then he still needs to fight one of those two guys as well to live up to his own statement...
Marquez was ranked #2 p4p, Mosley was ranked #3 p4p and the #1 welterweight. If he adds Pacquiao's name to the list he would have faced top 3 p4p opponents in his last 3 fights.

It's possible that he will fight Pacquiao in March next year. Though I think probably June/July is more realistic as he may take a fight in January/February to stay active.

He can retire when he get ready you just dont buy his fights its that simple he doesn't have to retire you just don't have to watch him fight nobody makes you watch Floyd Mayweather fight you do it by your own choice im not gonnna buy Pacquiao next fight because its my choice you can do the same with Maywather
Lol never actually bought a Mayweather fight, but thats not the point. Football Player take just as much if not more damage and they could play 23x a year. Im sure having a 350 pound linebacker taking you down 50+ times a game hurts

And like i said Floyd barely gets hit in his fights so that not an excuse.

                  • Money's not thinking about fighting? What is he hitting the gay club scene extra hard :bukkake: It looks like he was scared of Pac all along. I guess after being wobbled by Mosley his fear and self doubt has increased.
