Yes Floyd can get another Pad man anywhere.

But he can't get another guy named Roger Mayweather to be in his corner (if he goes to jail).

Floyd can train himself by his own admission. But seriously, Floyd Sr. could fill in, and if it's too much drama, Uncle Jeff could fill the void. I could have sworn Roger wasn't in Floyd's corner for the Baldomir fight, but I could be wrong.

The bottomline is that Pac needs Roach. Floyd doesn't need Roger nearly as much.

Not in one year, what they mean is if he exceeds that much in one year he will get taxed even more than usual... but if he waits until 2011 he can keep more to himself and to be honest I wouldn't put it past him, the guy does fight for money and I wouldn't be suprised... its just ten times easier to say that your on vacation.

I am not saying that is what has happened, I am saying its something to take into consideration... like the thing with Roger, he might just need to see how things pan out and saying hes on vacation at the moment might be the easiest way to say things.

the roger reason would be valid as hell though. no fighter should come to a fight without his trainer. look at what Mr. T did to rocky!

@Blaze, you are probably right, Manny probably needs Roach more than Floyd Jr needs Roger. However, you need a calm and relaxed corner when you get clobbered the way Floyd Jr did against Mosley in that second round. After that round, Floyd Jr. looked a little bit concerned but Roger kept his composure, told Floyd what to do next and Floyd did it. So, there is something to be said about having a somewhat good corner man because if the corner panics, that isn't going to help the fighter at all...

Alright, just answer me this, what does Floyd have to do for you to finally go, "**** this guy, he aint right"? Answer that first part, the rest of my post is just my rant, continuing.....

......It looks like it takes a whole lot with some of you. I've been saying from the get-go, I don't give a damn about money-splits, drug testing, catchweights, a pound overweight and you pay a million......as long as this fight gets done for the fans.

It appears things got agreed on anyway, no complains from Floyd and he is depriving fans of a big fight. As a boxing fan first, when a fight doesn't happen and you know who's at fault at the current moment, I tend to blame that guy. It wasn't Pacquiao this time, and I don't excuse Floyd just because the other guy was at fault the last time around.

To be honest Cro, I'll never turn on Mayweather or Pacquaio. These guys have been lining up one superfight after another over the past decade, so its hard for me to complain about one fight not being made.

As for your rant, you're entitled to your opinion. But personally, I feel your just caught up in the moment. Your pissed at Mayweather because you want the fight NOW, and he's not delivering the fight now. And because of this, all is forgiven for Pac messing the fight up back in March. I'm sorry bro, that's horse****, IMO.

Roger was still training Floyd for the Baldomir fight, he just wasn't in the corner.

I find it ****** that people can say that Floyd can be by himself but Pac needs Roach. Yeah they can fill in for Roger no doubt, but they won't be the guy Floyd gets along with and will actually listen to.

For all you guys that think Roger is just a pad man, just listen to him give advice to the people that spar at the Mayweather gym, then I think you guys would realize he's more than just a pad man.
