@Thatnickuh, I understand yevskiy426's point though. I get on these forums alot because I am unemployed and bored alot of the time and I all I ever read from posters on here is that Floyd wants the fight, etc., etc. Now, granted, Floyd never stated that (I don't even think he mention Pacquiao by name after the Mosley fight) however he did imply things regarding him. Bottom line, it's sad to see promoters bust their asses to do everything they can to make a fight and have all terms agreed to (Al Haymon confirmed everything was agreed to) and then have the fighter say "I don't want to fight anytime soon!" I really think Roger is going down and spending time with him before prison makes sense, just like not wanting to fight the biggest fight in your life without your main trainer also makes perfect sense...

That's very possible but why not state that? We all know Manny wouldn't fight without Roach in his corner so I am sure that is an acceptable response (I even speculated on that earlier in this thread as well). However, both guys are at their peak now and this is the time to fight. Plus, Mayweather probably knows Manny promised his mother one more fight in November then I will retire, so you can only string this along so far. Bob Arum keeps stating May 2011 but what if Manny retires in November? It's highly possible and he considered retiring after Cotto but didn't want any unfinished business done so he said November 2010. We will see...

I think Arum did say that Manny will continue to have a few more fights. If he really thought Nov was his last fight Bob would have kidnapped Floyd.

notice when someone says "pacquiao" in floyd's video interviews, he has an automatic response of shaking his head, stuttering, or his eyes separate. he's not doing these things consciously. it's a natural habit. what more if you put those two in the ring?

Doesn't anyone remember that Pacquiao promised his mother one more fight in November and then I am retiring. Maybe that is Floyd is ******** on.... and then Jr can call him out, Pacman says he is retired and then Floyd can say "See, he is ducking me!"...

I hate to say it but i believe pac will retire after this november fight to concentrate on the politics and to honor his promise to his mother, and this is the perfect time for floyd to call out pac when pac is not interested and not focus in boxing anymore.

Get it right dude, Sr. wasn't referring to Pac. He always said Floyd would destroy Manny. Manny is a southpaw that get's hit at will. Floyd can smack Manny around with his eyes closed.

Think objectively my man, if you're a fighter and you make 3 mil for one fight, you might want to get one or two more fight in for the year to make 6 0r 9 mil. Now, if you make 40 mil for one fight you would want to sit back and chill right? You're probably gonna say no because you guys refuse to see any reasoning when it comes to Pac.

Um if I was in my early 30's and making 40 mil and knew I had a couple fights left and know my body is soon to be out of my prime I'd fight as many fights as I could so I could retire asap. Why make 80 mil in two years when you couldve made like 160. You have failed logic. Typical *****.

Oh and another thing. Once mayweather loses to manny, he ain't making no "40 mil" no more. His income is gonna be cut dramatically and he knows this. Maybe that's why he's duckin PAC too cause when manny has an opponent maybe he will fight someone else for a big check before he fights pacquiao for his last big check. If he loses to manny in nov if the fight happened, unless it was a close fight, then he can kiss that "money" bye bye.
