honestly, lets put the pac/floyd fight aside...
WHERE THE HELL IS FLOYD/MARTINEZ????? or where is floyd vs ANY OTHER FIGHTER? all the floyd fans will find a way to justify floyd not fighting pac... but how are they going to justify floyd not fighting martinez, p-will, or anybody else for that matter? floyd taking a "break" is weak, the man is in TOP SHAPE... shane basically laid down for floyd, so floyd should still be fresh. its just a matter of motivation for floyd... on record after the mosley fight, floyd said he wanted to fight the BEST & was ready to take on all top guys.... his silence and loss of motivation is suspect... as a boxing fan, this is VERY disappointing.

Yea cause there is only one more fight to make. He knows a fight with pac is suppose to be next but he's just duckin and sayin anything to no fight him. They've been talkin bout this fight for a couple of years now. There's no excuse that this fight shoudon be happening in November but wiu floyd it's excuse afte excuse after excuse. And now his excuse is "I wanna spend time with my family". He's fought twice in 3 years and now he wants to take more breaks? Floyd fans please take it out your mouths.. You know what I'm talkin bout. You can't defend Floyd this time. It's a sad day to be a mayweather fan

        • Pacquaio-Mayweather is never going to happen. Mayweather will just wait until Pac is out of the picture and fight a bunch of Mosleys. All he wants is money , but at the same time wont sacrifice taking a chance of losing his perfect record against a worthy opponent

          JUST RETIRE!

            • Just renounced my membership of the Mayweather Mafia VIP. I don't want to be a member of a group who worships a ***** who makes pedicures and manicures a bigger priority than signing the biggest fight in boxing history.

Yo gtfoh man, you sound like a dumbass. You don't get the point. Floyd not fighting Pacquiao is a joke and he should just retire if he don't wanna fight him. What's the point of him being around if he aint fighting Pacquiao??? He thinks he's too good for any1 else so then what the hell is the point if him being in boxing still???

                  • This ***** is going back to retirement again to avoid Pacquaio just like he retired the first time to avoid Cotto and Marg.

Mayweather made an ass of himself by arguing with Brian Kenny as to why he wouldn't fight Mosley because he wasn't an attraction. And as we all know that Money eventually fought both Hatton and Mosley, and the fights were much bigger events than they would have been if he had fought them when the boxing public was demanding he he fight them. Money's PPV success is in part because of his ability to sell a fight, but IMO, a larger part of his PPV success is because he has a knack for fighting fights when they're as big as they could possibliy be. The Mayweather-Pacquaio promotion will be no different. Just the rest of Mayweather recent PPV hits, he'll do this promotion when the timing is perfect to maximize revenue.
How's it going Hitking, good seeing you back.

Common man, this is inexcusable. Fight is as big as it's gonna get, both fighters are in their primes and aren't gonna get any better then they are now. THE TIME IS NOW. People are already tired of this fight and the back and forth, if anything the sales are gonna take a hit.

We don't knowwhere Pacquiao is going after November, everybody is assuming that he will still be around for May 2011, BUT he's said it himself, that he is retiring after the next fight. YOU NEVER KNOW. And even if he doesn't retire, what if he does poorly in his next fight, that's an automatic hit for the promotion.

Right now, both Pacquiao & Mayweather based on their last 2 fights are at their best, neither guy struggled. ON PAPER, it's an equal fight. If one of them struggles in a fight before, the STORYLINE CHANGES, and you know it.
