the way you said it makes it sound like he beat a prime hagler.

overrated? HA! if anything pryor is UNDERRATED!

you can see the fear in ray leonards voice and eyes, at that press conference. i rest my case.

    You rest your case ?
    What case ?

damn, bro'....I saw fear in Pryor's eyes when SAOUL MAMBY was mentioned to him ?
    He ducked Mamby.

ha-ha....Actually, he didn't duck Mamby...he just knew Saoul was a smaller fish to fry.
This is just the way Leonard viewed Pryor.

Were you even born yet, back in '81-'82 ?
If not, please don't tell me about what was going on then.
    Case is closed now.

I didn't say he beat Hagler did I? I said he fought him and HE DID. Say what you want, but Hagler at the time fo that fight was considered by everyone as the #1 p4p fighter in the sport.

Would you please like to explain to me how Ray Leonard ducked Aron Pryor when Pryor never actually moved up in weight.

Kinda hard to duck someone when they refuse to move up in weight isn't it.

      I rest MY case.

Leonard was like 4 inches+ taller than Pryor, oh ignorant one. You act like they were the same size and ****, this is really funny.

stick to team sports. it's what you know most about. not boxing.

Pryor DID move up throughout his career, his frame was much smaller than Leonard's though, making it much easier for Leonard to put on extra weight and move up. It isn't really that difficult to grasp, at least for most people.

WATCH THE PRESS CONFERENCE! Pryor says, "I have no problem with moving up I already cleaned out my divison" and Leonard interrupts him out of fear saying "This is my show pal"

leonards people were too smart to put him in there with that animal

Jesus Christ, someone take the samll children away from the computer screen cause this is gonna get brutal in a minute.

Are you high? No seriously are you?

Who cares how tall Ray was. Tommy Hearn was 6'0+ and Ray had no problem fighting him. Dont forget Pryor was the one calling Ray out not the other way around. If your gonna run your mouth like you want a big fight then you should back up your talk with actions.

Alexis Arguello was even taller than Ray Leonard, but he had no problem fighting him did he? despite the fact that Arguello was fighting 3 weight divisions north of his best weight.

Even though I don't believe Leonard feared Pryor.....let's just say he did....
Good thing for Pryor.....because he would have been beaten very badly by Ray Leonard.

BECAUSE LEONARDS PROMOTERS DIDNT WANT TO SEE THEIR CASH COW GET HIS ****ING ASS STOMPED!

pryor did everything he could to get that fight and that is common knowledge! leonard is the one who listened to his management who told him "DO NOT FIGHT PRYOR" just like WLAD OR VITALI WON'T FIGHT PETER! IT'S SIMPLE! LETS NOT FORGET THE FACT PRYOR DROPPED RAY NUMEROUS TIMES IN THE PAST!

slip...147 pound Tommy Hearns was 10x the fighter that Pryor would have been at that weight. Ray Leonard would have merc'd Aaron Pryor rather easily. Two different classes of fighter and Ray was just much bigger and better all around. This coming from someone who ****ing hates Leonards ***** ass.
