Since fighting Darchinyan, Donaire hasn't fought a fighter of Darchinyan caliber and when everybody is against Montiel, fighting as an underdog against Hasegawa and Castillo- both number 1 in their division when Montiel fought them, he delivers. Good Luck to both fighters.

Donaire is much bigger, hits harder, is just as skilled as Hasegawa and probably/maybe takes a better punch. I don't know about that last one. Montiel hit Hasegawa with one of those lucky punches that just happened to break his jaw and Hasegawa does take a good punch. Doniare is just so freakin huge for that weight and any weight around there at all....What is he? 5'8? 5'9? That's scary big. He could move up and become the next WW champ too.
When a guy is fast, powerful and the size of a WW, what do you expect when he's fighting at 115? Montiel should have a rematch with Hasegawa.
