thats too much weight going to 122,118 is as high as he should go,if he goes up we'll just see another fighter looking way too big and strong,i still think donaire is too big for montiel too,it should be donaire vs vazquez, donaire should go straight to 122

Guarantee that Donaire beats Montiel pretty easy. Although Montiel beat Hasegawa, people forget just how easily Has was winning, outboxing and outfighting him before that one big punch. I know that's all it takes obviously, but if Hasegawa had fought his usual fight instead of that dementedly aggressive fight, highly unusual for him, it would have ended up a dominant UD for Hasegawa.

Donaire is much bigger, hits harder, is just as skilled as Hasegawa and probably/maybe takes a better punch. I don't know about that last one. Montiel hit Hasegawa with one of those lucky punches that just happened to break his jaw and Hasegawa does take a good punch. Doniare is just so freakin huge for that weight and any weight around there at all....What is he? 5'8? 5'9? That's scary big. He could move up and become the next WW champ too.

When a guy is fast, powerful and the size of a WW, what do you expect when he's fighting at 115? Montiel should have a rematch with Hasegawa.

Montiel looked super strong, he did what he was suppose to do with a fighter like Concepcion I would of really liked to have seen him against Morel but I think Im more excited to see how he looks against Donaire

Donaire is 5'6", Montiel is 5'4", but Montiel is not Tyson Marquez. It's easy to do what you want and look good when you have nothing to worry about. The only name on Donaire's record is Darchinian, so it may not be so one sided.

hasegawa beating him easily??..no way, those rounds were close, you act like he was dominating him for 10 rounds, only 3 rounds had officially been scored, montiel is a professional, what makes you think he probably wouldn't have adjusted later on in the fight?..people make to much of that victory,he beat him good,he already said if hasegawa wants a rematch,no problem

you're right man, Cochulito Montiel broke Hasegawa's jaw. Hasegawa was hospitalized after that fight. How could you say he dominated Montiel, in just 3 rounds out of 12.
