Nope, Arum completely dodged when asked specifically about testing. Later even made excuses for Floyd regarding his uncle not being in his corner. Arum was indeed promoting Cotto/Marg fight by his quick to run for an option.That would also explain why Pac had not signed.

you know what this is looking like to me? this is looking like a total marketing ploy for ARUM/Pacs next fight.

i think Arum was using this ****, knowing flloyd wouldnt sign, as a way to promote Pac/Cotto or Pac Margo. what better way to promote or bring awareness about an upcoming fight for pac than to use the May/Pac beef?

he said there was an agreement made between camps but never spoke with anyone from May's camp? he stated that while "negotiating" for May/Pac-he was never in negotiations for Pac-Cotto/Marg. well, if that the case-why did he have so many details regarding those fights? the last thing he wants is for pacs next fight to do less than 1mil buys, let alone 700k-again. so it seems that hes using this bs Floyd/pac hype as a way to market and promote the fight hes planned on making the whole time...Pac/cotto/Margo.

What can I say? You made an intresting point, I figured he wanted to fight Cotto from the jump rather then Margarito. I felt that since he beat Cotto once, hed set Cotto up with Foreman another top rank fighter, snatch the belt and have Manny go for the 8th title. The same they talked about clottey during the first round of negotiations, they talked about cotto and marg. SO this isnt nothing new to me.

Bob Arum lied to all of Manny fans... He said that Top Rank and GBP came to an agreement...Bob never talked to GB, he talked to Ross Greenwhoever...since when do we talk to HBO to negatiate fights for FLoyd??
