A fight with Margarito would do nothing for Pac's legacy

not sayin he should fight cotto either but wtf does this version of margarito have to offer.......................

itll be for the 154 lbs WBC belt, what did tony do to deserve a #1 ranking? beat robert "not even rated in the top 50" garcia? seriously panda thinks this fight will put more question marks on pac's extraordinary multi-division reign than it will solidify his ATG status

theyre thinking with their wallets right now and taking a dump on the fans expectations

margarito will not put up a fight, pac will box circles around him, drop him and finish him inside the distance. the wbc wants some of that pacquiao purse so ofcourse they will accomodate making this fight. most people believe tony is shot right now as do most of those people think pacquiao has fought questionable opposition 135-147. panda doesnt agree, cotto and clottey both had a helluva chance to upset pac on paper but tony really is a shot fighter

I can see your point but margo is still a top class fighter, no doubt on the level of mosley/cotto etc you cant get any higher than margo other than floyd

martinez is really huge, more like a 160 fighter, pac would be at too much of a disadvantage, its like tyson fighting roy jones when they were at their prime

It will be an action fight with Margarito getting fucked up, nothing more.

Well it still offers slightly more than a Cotto rematch which is completely redundant.

Tim Bradley, Shane Mosley, Andre Berto?

Top Rank are raping Pacquiao for his cash to just boost their own ratings. Why try to monopolise a sport? That is not the spirit of the game!

A real boxing fan should be let loose on the controls in Bob Arum's brain for a week.

Think of the fun we could have!

margo is on the same level with them in terms of stature tho

bradley, pac should only take it at 147 or 145, a fighter shouldnt be going down and up weights when he may be preparing for the ultimate fight at 147 next year (floyd)

            after margo

hopefully pac goes for berto at 147, after that try again for floyd, if that doesnt come off, hopefully someone else big will be on the scene

Do you really want to know because if so, I can explain real quick why he is rated #1 by the WBC.

Still, mosley has beat marg despite the handwrap ****. A fight with Mosley would be better and could put Pac above Money and certainly lay down the glove.

Pacquiao vs Margarito set at the Philippines, Thrilla in Manila2 for Pac`s 8th weight title is the best option there is.
