Promoter Kalle Sauerland of Sauerland Event was forced to dig deep for WBC super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler. Sauerland told Danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet that Kessler vs. Green will take place in Denmark on September 25th. Their fight contract in the Super Six Boxing Classic, called for the contest to take place in the United States. Sauerland had to put some big bucks in play to convince Green and his promoter Lou DiBella to accept the fight in Kessler's home country.
