and obviously we see that the whole drug testing thing was just an excuse for mayweather to duck the man who would end his so called undefeated streak (all the real boxing fans know jlc beat him) the man who would knock him out and the man who could possibly end his life with a single blow. now that pac has agreed to all the stipulations where is this coward to be found now??? and while hes waiting for mayweather to come out of hiding pac will continue fighting bigger and badder men than mayweather would ever dare to face.

I've been a defender of Floyd throughout this mess and I was really close in saying that Floyd should say something.

People can talk all they want about how the december 09 negotiations went down but if we are going to bring this up lets take it from the top. We all knew that the contract was already drawn up and there were no problems about the money, gloves, or even the location. Manny was ready to go. All of a sudden Floyd sr decides to make a comment about Manny on roids because of his domination in the ring. Floyd Jr. decides to (at the last moment) say that he's not going to sign the contract until manny agrees to random bloods test(not required by NSAC). By the end of all the talks and mediation Manny goes down to 18 days and Floyd doesnt budge. 2 1/2 WEEKS OF STEROIDS WILL DO NOTHING FOR YOUR BODY so what was Floyd scared of? Manny had agreed to take unlimited urine tests and even a Blood test the night of the fight. Theres no way to hide roids or PED's if they check your piss at all times. Floyd is clearly the reason why this fight didn't happen then or isn't happening now. He's never once asked any of his 40 previous opponents for random testing. Nor did he ask Marquez who was JUMPING UP 17LBS for his fight. You really got to ask yourself why Floyd continues to bring up objections that shouldn't even exist. I like Floyd but with this whole Pacquiao deal I cant stick up for him.GOOD POST !!

Even in spite of Manny's remarkable achievements, I think that I agree with you..... I doubt that he is using PED's. But I just wish that I knew for sure.
It was disappointing back in January to see Mayweather agree to 50/50 (WTF?) and a 14-day cutoff, only for Manny to decline because 14 days was not long enough.
Whilst I agree with your sentiment..... that these two Prima Donna's are both starting to look a little silly..... you certainly have to lay the blame squarely at Manny's feet for sinking the fight during the first negotiations.
I would have been fine if Manny wanted more money, but to sink the fight because of cutoff dates for random blood testing..... that's just unacceptable to me. This is how life works.....

No Pacquiao didn't refuse anything, Mayweather refused a 50/50 purse split in Las Vegas because he wanted some random blood tests taken that isn't even part of the NSAC requirements. Facts are facts. The deal was already put together and ready to sign before the testing came into play. Mayweather turned it downComment
