Joshua Clottey was unknown to the general public too...using that as an excuse not to fight Tim Bradley is lame. Bradley would be the smaller man against Pacquaio at this point. A Cotto rematch is too much of a safe money fight...at this point to say he's the best out there, either fight someone who is a challenge or don't fight at all. Devon Alexander is out there, as is Paul Williams. Williams I can see not happening due to Pac's height, but other fights in the weight range are doable.

yah true, jushua clottey was not a big name but have fought big names and was in the TOP 5 WELTERWEIGHT rankings....what big names have bradley fought? pac/mayweather/cotto/clottey/mosley filled out the TOP 5 welterweight...pac just beat cotto, mosley was to fight berto, but ended up fighting mayweather...outside of clottey and the TOP 5 welterweights...who should pac have fought that wouldve made sense?

He's not saying Pacquiao shouldn't have fought Clottey, but rather Arum is lying through his teeth in regards to using "not a big draw" "not a big name" as an excuse not to fight Bradley or Paul.

gtfoh, you moron. any athlete who refuses ANY type of drug test is a ***** and is most likely juicing. all athletes should be jumping at the chance to prove that they're clean, especially if they're being accused. only a ***** would make up lies and bull**** excuses. you can support him fighting shot fighters and using ped'd but i won't.

bob arum = FULL OF SHIIIIIITTTTT !!
when mayweather didnt wanna fight margarito or cotto cuz HE felt they were not a big enough attraction, bob attacked floyd, called him a coward and a ducker. but now when he feels the exact same way floyd did, its ok ?

he said williams or bradley are not huge names, but neither is clottey. average boxing fan didnt know who he was, but he got that fight cuz hes on top rank.

pacquiao-margarito .. a JOKE, a guy who was exposed as a cheater gets a shot at the p4p champ ? what has he done to deserve a payday that big ? NOTHING.. he should be banned for life.

pacquiao-cotto II .... POINTLESS, a one sided beatdown should never get a rematch, if mayweather decides to give hatton or judah a rematch, he would be crucified by the media.

                id rather watch him fight
marquez @147 (just cuz floyd beat him dont mean manny will too, jmm gave pac hell in 2 close fights, make the trilogy to settle it, why not)

bradley @ 147 (he fights at 140, manny is the champ there but refuses to either give up the belt of fight for it)

berto @ 147 (he been payin his dues long enough, he deserves a payday already)

williams @ 147/154( if manny wants to have a belt in his 8th class, fight the best there, which is pwill)

Cotto, a bad choice... just comes across as a easy way for him to claim an 8th title... Margarito, even with the plaster thing is much more prefered by everyone I think.

I think if he was to fight Mosley, people might just think of it as fighting Floyds leftovers so it wont do him any justice.

Hopefully, before any of this Roger doesn't get convicted and hopefully they all come to an agreement for Manny vs Floyd.
You are under-estimating Bradley, he is close to being as-ready-as-he-will-ever-be.

                  Berto?

Nobody even mentions Berto, he is like the lost piece of the jigsaw puzzle.

He is the most qualified to fight either Floyd or Manny (traditionally, title-wise)..... and yet not only does nobody even mention him, I haven't heard him utter either of those names, ever?

He should be screaming for those guys, and he should feel insulted that he is not even being considered.

                    That's a very good point.

Personally, I think Williams should **** off back to 160/168 where he belongs.....
but if he is serious about WW then he should fight that idiot Clottey.

I mean, I would not pay to see Clottey fight, or Williams for that matter, but that fight could possibly answer questions about both of those guys.

look at the names that pac/mosley fought: barera, marquez, morales, delahoya, winky wright, cotto, clottey, etc...what big names have bradley fought?

pacs 7 fights against marquez(2)/barera(2)/morales(3) alone is a better resume than bradleys entire pro career
                      WTF?

Bradley has been the man at 140 since before the #2 was even ranked.

He has done all that, now he is attempting to step up a weight division and fight for a belt at 147, most likely against Berto, a tougher opponent than anyone at 140.

Which is exactly what all of those guys that you mentioned did.....
pac, mayweather, mosley, barera, marquez, morales, delahoya, winky wright, cotto..... remember ?
