the sanctionning bodies are known for being crooked after all......
yes the sactioning bodies are crooked but tua holds 2 of the WBO's minor regional titles.if he had 1 hed be around 8-10 like you said but he holds 2 so he has leapfrogged other guys who hold nothing.since the other organizations have their own minor titles & rankings tua hasnt climbed as high....when sosnowski won the european title he was automatically placed in the top 10 wbc rankings.now that harrison won it he too has shot up to a top 10 wbc ranking.whoever holds the wbc continental americas title will also get a top 10-15 ranking.nabf gives you top ten wba(i believe).nabo champ also gives top 10 wbo ranking.i believe tua owns the wbo asian pacific title(regional for eastern europe, australia, newzealand,ETC.)& the nabo title(north america).thats 2 minor wbo titles he owns from 2 different regions of the world.he deserves that ranking.

Most fighters only fight for one or two organizations (other than lineal champs) because being ranked by those organization requires them to pay for sanctioning fees, which can be extremely costly. Especially with the HW division so splintered, getting one of the titles warrants you into talks with the holders of the other belts. I think that's the path Tua's taking. For his sake, I hope he gets another shot. I don't think he'll beat either Klitschko, but if he could eventually get to Haye, it would be a short night for the Hayemaker and his suspect chin.

        good, I see

Tua and/or his manager have been pretty wise to fight Cameron for the regional titles then

maybe we'll get to watch Wladimir vs Tua in 2011

Good for Tua, but his best years are behind him and if he ever beat a Klitschko it will just prove how weak is the HW division.

kidnap Haye, drug him, make him sign to fight Tua
would pay to see him iced
WBO ranking could get Tua eventual shot at Wlad
but Tua won't even reach his damn chin to crack it

No, it would show that the best years are not behind him, the Klits are dominating for a long time now. Of course the division is weak but the Klits are not, its the rest who is weak. Im not a Klit fan, their fights are boring but still you have to give them credit.

that is fishy to say the least
                it's not fishy.

tua won wbo regional belts from shane cameron.

if you have like a regional belt from an org , they rank you in their top 10.

kinda like if you're 140 champions for say wbc , you jump to 147 and you become top 10 and a mandatory at 147.

tua will never beat a klitschko.

a peter , arreola , haye is possible though.

This is a ridiculous fight. Tua needs to either step up and fight a legitimate contender or get the hell out of boxing. This fight proves nothing and his choice of safe opponents has grown old. Either he's serious or he's not. Right now he is irrelevant in the heavyweight division. The last time he had an opportunity to fight a top fighter he priced himself out. That opponent was Chris Arreola. I can't take Tua seriously.

I don't think he beats any of them now.I was a fan of Tua when he was in his prime but he's bull****ting now.
