sure zab can take on anybody at 140.
he's got the skills, speed and some power.
his only problem is he doesn't train hard because he lacks focus.
      attitude per se...

Did anyone get to see the fight? I'm curious as to how his corner was working with the new trainer? He always comes back with a fighter that he finishes early but, when he is in with tough comp he loses focus in the later rounds. An early finish doesn't tell us one thing about Zab right now.

I was happy to see Judah win again. I would like to see his new campaign at 140 go well, the division is stacked. If he could take out all the top dogs, that would be a successful cap to a long career.

During the 2nd round, I was hoping that he would carry the guy some rounds. Just to get rack up some rounds and test his stamina but then that lazer left uppercut landed.

Eddie wasn't there...he was in Memphis with Ishe Smith.

Zab fights an opponent who weighs in @ 143 and its JWW?

I don't see why every source has been reporting the Judah-Cruz fight as a Junior WW bout when both men came in weighing over 140

obviously Zab's plans are well known that he's moving down to 140

but tonight he fought and beat Santa Cruz a Lightweight (who weighed in @ 143)

the first two rounds were fought mostly cautious by Zab, he used good movement and a strong jab .. and occasionally he started putting more punches together as the fight wore on

Cruz was lunging in and that's where Zab threw the upper cut which caught him flush.

I agree, good finish aside, beating a much smaller man at Welterweight (since both weighed in over 140)

doesn't prove anything as to how Zab would do at Junior Welter.

Thanks, so how did is dad do? I don't know how Zab understands him because all I hear is "Hit'em Zab! Boom! Boom! Then give him a whoop! Whoop! Like this!"

I always thought 140 was a better weight for him but, all the big fights were at Welter so I understand his move. I hope it works out better for him with the young lions coming up.
