This will be a deadline, as Arum has several other options (Cotto, Margarito). If it was the only real option then yes, he would be flexible should Floyd want to negotiate after.

But I don't think Arum would want to be seen backing down from his own deadline, especially if other options exist which are still lucrative due to the money staying within Top Rank.
