Boxing in Canada outside Quebec has a very low profile. It rarely gets reported in the two Vancouver newspapers, even after big fights.

Quebec has three exciting world-class boxers: Bute, Pascal and Lemieux. There are no bona-fide world-class boxers in Canada outside Quebec.

In order to watch the sport, I've learned how to find links to streams. The quality is better than a couple of years ago. And of course, we can download videos of all the major fights and watch them a day or two after they happen.
