Im not gonna say Williams is ducking him but idk what he is thinking at the moment. The biggest fight for him is vs Martinez. Every1 knows a fight with Pacquiao or Mayweather is out of the question. It would be for a title. 50-50 is fair 2 me, I know he won the 1st fight but it was a damn good fight. And Sergio is the Middleweight Champion. Idk what seems 2 be the hold up.

All Williams fans can join me as a proud Martinez supporter, I won't hate you for your prior bad taste...it's all good. Martinez isn't afraid of anyone out there and neither is my boy Bradley....these dudes are real. Martinez whoops him good this time and Williams knows it, he saw how he was able to come on strong and give Pavlik a beating like he has never had. Both Pavlik and Williams know firsthand just how good of a boxer Martinez is and don't want another ass taxing

P-Will is ducking if he won't fight Sergio because he's trying to fight welterweights.

60-40? When has Paul Williams proved he is a draw? 50-50 is fair.

Why is everyone acting like Williams canceled the fight talks.

                  Jesus.

They are negotiating. Williams set it at 60-40 most likely knowing at best he'll get 55-45. Calm down people. Damn.

[QUOTE=JmH Reborn;8836559]I wouldn't call Williams a bigger name than Sergio! Williams can't fill his hometown, where Sergio can go home and other international spots and bring some crowds.

He's the lineal and true MW champ and at best their fight should have been a draw. This is more than a legitimate offer. This would be considered a duck if he doesn't take this fight. He's chasing a pipe dream of a fight with Floyd or Manny.

What I think the real issue is that he knows Sergio was a late replacement and was still able to get the drop on him, give Sergio a complete training camp then who knows. Plus...P. Williams was getting sparked by Cintron before Cintron jumped to the hills...Williams jaw is getting cracked wide open[/QUO

Neither fighter had a full training camp for that fight. They were both training for different opponents. That works both ways.
