I'm a floyd fan, but this is ridiculous. I'm actually pretty pissed. If pacquiao agreed the drug tests and the money is ok, then what's the hold up!?! He doesn't need uncle roger, he has his father. He has the rest of his team. Floyd Sr. is a much better trainer than Roger any way.... and if he feels so strongly about Roger not bein in the corner why doesn't he propose a rematch clause??? This is bull and this WILL hurt his legacy if he let's this slip through. There's no excuse. This is most demanded match in recent history, it shouldn't take two years to get this fight signed. Floyd if you don't fight Manny and beat him you will always be ranked lower than him on the ATG standing.

If that were to happen then he'd have a decision to make. Either fight with Roger or not. The possibility is still there for him to have Roger in his corner though. If it were to happen and he decided not to fight on, would I be upset? Sure I would, and it would damage his legacy in my eyes like it would everyone else's. If the same thing were to happen to Roach and Pac made the same decision then I'd feel the same way. The thing is though that boxing will go on with or without this fight. How many times have we as boxing fans not been able to see great matchups in our time? I know of many, but even without those fights boxing is still here. Although this would be a hell of a fight with the 2 best fighters in the sport going at it, i'm pretty sure i'll still live even if it doesn't get made. I love the sport and love watching it, but I'm not one of those people who get all emotional when stuff I want doesn't happen. Before I end I do want to say "make the freakin fight floyd!"

ARUM sounds eminently reasonable, although his immense swarm of intelligent detractors say that his "tongue should be hanging out" with him having a stroke at the loss of his potentially biggest promotional share of an immense gate.

Instead, surprising to all (except me and a few others) he passes it off as a normal "day ot the office" and making believable excuses for Mayweather...........

                    Strange!

Of course we must consider that because of Mayweather's barely visible sense of humour, he could be stretching the suspense out until 11.59 p.m. on Friday night...

I have considered this for a long time.....
