fck you. smoking pot a month or two weeks in his off time before he performs his job should have no bearing on his statis.

considering that a fighter could get high on the more dangerous junk,coke, speed and other water soluable drugs and pass the drug test a couple days after makes the suspention of a boxer for smoking pot two weeks before a fight ludicrious.

and augustus does have money value to the real boxing fans. to the general public it doesnt matter. they'll pay to watch hatton fight anyone.

It would be a fairly entertaining fight but Augusta in no way deserves a shot at Hatton. If they fought it would be a flap in the face to Mayweather, Cotto and all the other deserving fighters in that division.

It was certianly entertaining...

I used to box with this big kid who used to fight like Foreman. He was big, intimidating, and had a hard punch but he also used to throw both hands at once like that boxer in your post. Picture someone throwing two haymakers at once and sandwiching your face in between them! So, after getting hit with a couple of these two-hand punches and him trying again to hit me, I opened up and hit him with 3 punch combo because he left himself so open. The moral of the story is: it hurts to get hit with two punches at once, but if your opponent does it, he invariably leaves himself wide open for variety of punch combinations.
