That's easy to declare when there is no lion before you. Floyd may be ducking. It is sad. But as Secondz Out stated, it has to do with insecurity of legacy and his zero and not with his fear of Pacquiao.

I feel that Floyd is losing a butt tonne more by not facing Pacquiao than if he faced him and lost. Regrettably, that is not my decision to make. Depending on if he is ducking (likely) or there is a detail in the contract he is not speaking to which precludes the possibility of a fight for him (not as likely), his legacy will suffer irreparable damage as a result if he does not fight.

FWIW, I am not afraid of dying...but being mauled by a Lion is not the way I would want to go, either. I would rather be hanged, shot or fall to my death. Lion...not so much.

The lion would probably cheat like Ward did against Kessler.

He would probably go for the jugular vein with his teeth and kill the human which is against the unified rules of the boxing commissions just like Andre Ward's headbutts were against the rules.

So although the lion will win, he like Ward, will cheat to do it.

Based on your logic, Manny Pacquaio didn't have any excuse for not taking the fight the first time. Floyd made $40 fighting Mosley. If he doesn't fight Pac next, he would make twice as much money in his next fight against Berto or Bradley or Martinez than Pac will fighting Cotto or Margarito. All you have done with this comment is to make a statement about how Pac is an idiot for not fighting Floyd in March!

Damn right. If you tell a lion that there's no biting below the belt and it might look as if it understands. But when the bell rings it cannot control it's predatorial instincts for very long. So I guess it's safe to say that it'll ignore the rules within seconds. Just like Ward.

              It's in the blood.
