Very enjoyable article that almost makes you want Monte to pull the upset and finish his career a a winning note. Also, I'm glad that Monte is (hopefully) retiring after this fight; he's had his share of ups and downs and has been in the ring with a lot of very talented fighters...

Tua will likely win but I wouldn't be upset if Barrett pulls the upset.

Barrett the ferret never had a big win. His whole career was shaded in obscurity. Not sure if he was ever relevant. What does a guy like Barrett do now get a job he couldn't have made any cash. Did he ever hit anyone hard enough to break glass. Is he even a boxer or just an opponent to show up and lose?

Why comment if you never watched any fights but that fight? Besides it's not a secret barrett was treated like a second class citizen by the haye camp. Barrett had a hard time adjusting to everything in England.jetlag,the food,being in a foreign country(something he never did before this fight). They put him up in a holiday inn(cheap hotel) & gave him a $50 meal allowance...that's cheap! This was a big showcase fight for david & he treated Barrett like a tomato can & surprised him with this stuff only after he arrived to England. Haye is a class above Barrett regardless but it showed how little respect haye shows people. It's no surprise with his recent antics of playing Houdini...

I did watch some of his other fights, but I was just saying how that incident played out. Pardon my legalese.
