He got completely dominated by a cruiser weight. Come on now.
That didn't stop Arturo Gatti now did it!

It's his genetics, not his laziness. He trained hard.
He used to fight at 175lbs.

Yeah when he was 18 years old! 95% of boxers don't fight at the same weight class forever for a reason.

Some people just can't do anything 100%. It's like they're afraid to miss out on something else if they dedicate themselves one thing. It's a shame and we'll never know how good CA could be. He'll see the light when it's too late. When he misses the celebrity, he'll go back to his earlier hunger (no pun intended). There is only a short time to make your mark, and then the boat sails without you.

He is what he is,a top 10 guy,not more or less.

I agree with you completely! I wonder if the same guys called wlad that when he got destroyed by sanders or made his excuses after the brewster fight or when vitali quit vs Byrd? Not bashing but just saying....a guy loses once or twice & he's all those names you mentioned....it's sad

arreola has a nice family, fat bank account,is way better than any poster here...the insults come from jealousy....I've been on this site for awhile & for all the people who make $10/hr that insult him you really have no ground to insult arreola.you all get in the ring with him & see how tough he is.the klits had silver spoons in their mouths....no other heavyweight did...how dedicated would they be if they come from poverty & then had $$$$ thrown at them?

I'm looking forward to this fight & so what if arreola is 250....you all act like he's the only one....it's funny because 85% of the guys I've met over my 35 years are not in excellent shape.the only guys that go to the gym are broke & have to do something to attract women....eventually those guys get left in the dust.women like security & while body builders are in the gym the guys making $ are at work...if you got time & energy to go to the gym after a 10 hour day of work....your not working hard enough!

This should be a pretty good fight, both of these guys like to come forward and fight but Arreola has the more diverse arsenal, should be pretty good while it lasts, which might not be too long.

You know, I think you know that this is, you know a crossroads, you know, fight .......

Arreola used 7 "you knows" in 2 1/2 lines, you know............and I still don't know what he was trying to say.

Goosen started the rot when he began this "historic""conference" by saying that the fight was "emanating" from....... Can you believe it?? What a stumble!

All the same it fitted right in with the maunderings of the 2 gladiators, who gave excellent impressions of being "stumble-bums" -as we used to call them.

The "conference" must have taken hours. And Manuel Quezada, I was not surprised o find -since I'd never heard of him- has a record of 29-5 (1 KO), with nearly every opponent being a plastic bag of tomato juice. In other words, just escaping from being a "stiff".

The whole dreary monkey act was pathetic, and a rare piece of unintentional humour was introduced by Arreola, when he was asked a simple question, and responded "what do you mean" ?

Both have lost their last fight, Arreola 2 of the last 3, although they were against Adamek and Klitschko, so he seems classes ahead of Quezada, therefore the fighters NEEDED this huge monkey show to try to boost up what is really only a Friday night fight, although all they really did was show their lamentable lack of "smarts".

However with the pathetic shape in which the heavyweight condition of Continental America (North and South) staggers, even THIS fight has some significance.................

                    REALLY Pathetic.

*** Arturo Gatti used to snort lines of coke off strippers asses before his fights and hes a legend but Arreola eats burritos before he fights and he suks.

                      ***ing come on!!!!
amen brother! I'm sure I would fit in at a gatti party & I hear chris throws good parties too...camacho & Chavez had good parties as well. I may be white but am coverered in Mayan & inca tattoos.I'd have a dozen beers & burritos anytime with chris.
