He was in his best ever condition for the Byrd fight in 2001, but he actually looked to be in worse condition cardio wise during that bout. It was possibly due to overtraining and cutting too much weight in a short period of time.

Yes, i think he lost to much weight in a short period of time. It has to be done the right way, dont lose more than 20 pounds in 2 months. Tua already weighed 237 against Cameron, then 239 against Ahunaja and now 237 again. So he should feel comfortable at that weight now. But I think the perfect weight for him today would be 230.
