Glad to see Tua in pretty good shape (for him.) Looks like he might actually be taking it seriously this time. I predict Monte does the chicken dance by round 3.

3rd fight in 9 months. not bad.

i think they're going for quantity and just racking up the wins to get noticed.

a couple more wins and he could get a showtime/hbo fight against someone.

Too bad Cameron jerked him around for so long. A few fights to knock the rust off, one fight say against a Peter, Arreola or Briggs type and the demand should start building for a title shot.

At least he's fighting better guys than Briggs is these days.

I wouldnt be surprised if Vitali gave him a shot soon. I think that Wlad would be dumb to fight Tua. Too much risk for little reward, give him to Vit to murder as a retirement present, and Wlad should keep fighting the top young guys. BTW Tua looks good.

people don't like it but it works.

rahman got a title shot after beating down 4-5 guys worse that what tua is fighting a few years back.

Rahman was lucky that Povetkin pulled out because of injury, but you're right. As long as Tua keeps looking good, he has a chance. Hopefully if he does get a shot, it's not on too short a notice for him to get in shape. It's bad enough that he weighed over 250 for his one and only title shot as it is. 250 is too much for anyone around 5'10", even if he is built like a fire hydrant.

At least this fight ends his Maori tv contract.

Then he''ll be able to get some contenders in there.

Anything in the 230s at his age means Tua is taking this stage of his career very very seriously.

The more often he fights, the better shape he is going to come in at.

Can you imagine an in shape David Freaking Tua with GOOD CARDIO?

There isnt a heavyweight out there that wouldnt get a little nervous about that.

Keep fighting janitors till your 100% Tua.

Then bring the wrecking ball left hand to the big boys at the top spot.

                      I'll be watching.
