Briggs is a ****ing joke of a fight. Id much rather see Valuev vs Vitali.
Don King kills Vitali vs. Valuev. Enter Briggs?

Briggs can sell a fight, he's big, powerful, and for a couple of rounds, he might actually be dangerous. He will need to train properly and get down to 250lbs at least though, otherwise he'll be in for a long night. A Valuev bout would be even worse as Valuev only has size and nothing else. At least Briggs has the power - and even decent hand speed - however long it may last for.Comment

So maybe HBO will pick up Vitali-Briggs then? They might think the quality is better in that fight than in the fight between the linear champion and an undefeated olympic champ.Briggs can sell a fight, he's big, powerful, and for a couple of rounds, he might actually be dangerous. I don't know what's up with King.
On one hand he is putting together a St. Louis fight card with 3 world title fights that is probably the most ambitious move by an individual promoter in quite awhile.
Then on the other hand he is turning down millions of dollars to keep a steadily declining fighter on the sidelines.

I don't understand either. There's no possible way for him to find a better exit fight for Valuev than Vitali.I don't know what's up with King.
