I agree with this too. You won't see me saying that, but I know there will be the *******s that drop that too. Unless it's clearly evident that Hopkins is different and he's being hit by like every punch Taylor throws...but that's not gonna happen.

If Taylor beats Hopkins, I'll give him credit because I am picking Hopkins to beat him. I have also posted in the past that Hopkins has slipped in the last few years but I don't believe he has slipped enough to lose to Taylor.

Also if Taylor beats Hopkins he will only hold the title until Ouma moves up and beats him.

Ouma is the future of the middleweight divisions.

i guess i just hope that if taylor does lose, the general public (as opposed to the deep boxing fans) will not just right him off. which is my motive for wanting him to win saturday.

sad thing is, the "general public" doesn't know Jermain Taylor from Ruthie Bolton Holyfield, he's not a public figure at this point, niether is B-Hop for that matter.... in boxing these days, Tyson and DeLaHoya are about it.....but either way, if Taylor wins, he could POSSIBLY become a public figure in the near future

taylor is intelligent and has more power than anyone hopkins has faced. and taylor listens to his corner which has helped him get by his opponents. i see taylors corner making him keep his hands up more an guiding him to make proper adjustment against the master.

with his speed and power taylor will make hopkins look old.

if hopkins uses the same gameplan he used against that dufus eastman ,dlh and tito then i see taylor having an easier time.

Winky is the only fighter outside of Hopkins that I see giving Ouma problems. I would make Winky the favorite. Winky has also said that he doesn't want nothing to do with Ouma at this stage of his career. Translate that however you want.

Taylor looses as he is being fed to the lions. He hasnt fought the journeyman necessary to be in with the middleweight king. Feasting on guys who are blown up junior middles does not get you into contention area. Why has taylor not fought guys like eastman, antwun echols, and robert allen? The guys who are the journemen at middleweight? Its because he has the same management as David Reid used to have and we all know what happened to him... (Fed to the lions (Felix Trinidad) prematurely.
