  • Comments Thread For: Arum: Pacquiao Not Scared To Face Margarito in Mexico

The Friday deadline for a Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao fight is right around the corner. Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum spoke with USA Today and said he doubts Mayweather will approve the fight proposal for a November 13 showdown. The two alternate options for Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito. Arum appears to be leaning in the direction of Margarito. The fight would likely take place in Mexico because Margarito is not licensed to box in the United States. [Click Here To Read More]

I heard Arum mention something about Roger Mayweather and that reminds me that that's supposedly the reason Mayweather didn't sign onto this fight. Well, I guess Floyd realizes that he's not in the ring with Carlos Baldomir. No other excuse than ***** assness.

Monterrey is like one of the most dangerous cities in Mexico isn't it?

And on a side note: I watched a highlight of the Margarito-Garcia fight on Youtube for the first time, and Margarito looked really sluggish in the last round. His punches had no steam on them and he looked tired. Pac is gonna murk him if this fight happens. I'm pissed that the fight will be for a vacant title, but like Burner said. Martinez displayed more looks than brains by relenquishing the title at 154. Can't blame Pac and Margs for that I suppose.

Im sure Arum is crossing his fingers that Mayfeather doesnt accept just so he can cash in on this marg pac fight. Its gonna suck for Cheato when pac boxes circles around him in his own country. I do have a feeling that Floyd will accept.

If ever Pacman should fight Margarito it should be in a neutral country and NOT in Mexico!

Have you noticed all these "reasons" why Floyd may not take the fight are all from Arum? I find it strange Floyd's now having these candid conversations with his old friend lol.

Anyway, I thought the same thing about Margarito. I didn't like the way he looked at all. Flashbacks of Castillo-Reyes.
