HBO spends millions on Dawson. I'd say those money was better spent on showing fights for the most prestigeous title on earth.

If the Klitschko's go to Showtime that is great for the sport.

Hopefully other fighters will follow suit.

The Super 6 is the best idea a network has had for boxing in 10 years and Showtime has regularly put together excellent matches on their showbox series that piss all over the HBO BAD mismatches we get.

A shift of power to Showtime is the best thing for everyone involved because HBO, even though that are not one, are still operating their business like it's a monopoly and they are doing it to the detriment of the sport.

Well I couldn't disagree more.

I quite enjoy the Showtime commentary, especially the fighter perspective coming from Tarver, who is head and shoulders above any fighter that HBO has ever employed.

I don't need announcers screaming like a lunatic like nuthugging Jim Lampley to enjoy a fight. **** go back and listen to the great boxing broadcasters from the first half of the century.... none of them scream like jackasses at any point for any reason.

I think Showtime Fight Camps 360 is a better show than HBO 24-7.

I don't think Showtime would put Rocky Juarez on their network 5 times and then dump a more profitable fighter for being too boring.

I guess HBO is able to get away with fights like Bute-Miranda because they have fancy lighting and an exciting In Ring Announcer.

There reasons are just silly. Talking about a lack of interest stateside and the lack of an American heavyweight. Yet, they have no issues pushing two foreigners in Haye and Adamek. Showtime's budget will continue to increase as they give the fans the best fighters and fights.
