That fight did well because Arreola was attempting to be the first ever Mexican American heavyweight champion. HBO is interested in the Klitchkos if they are fighting an uprising American fighter or an exciting guy like Haye. If it is your run of the mill European they really don't want that fight. It makes sense to me because the last few(ibragmov, chagev, snowski, gomez) were very boring.

I guess HBO should stop promoting themselves as the network that shows the best boxers in the WORLD. They better change that to the best boxers in the american hemisphere.

The particularly bad thing about this is that Greenburg allegedly had made a promise. Now he backs out and slams the door at the same time.

And that's just to add to the bad move HBO makes by not showing the linear champion against an undeafted olympic champion. That must be a first.

Ok ok....so that I will give you......that's bad business by HBO....but that's getting down to the little details.......the bigger picture is HBO is taking a stance vs **** fights that have no business being on premium channels or PPV....they just dont'....

And regarding you saying that **** fights has no business on HBO then please explain to me the reasoning ny putting Dawson's latest borefests on the air and what about Bute facing mediocre challengers?

HBO spends millions on Dawson. I'd say those money was better spent on showing fights for the most prestigeous title on earth.

Ok that's Greenburg......maybe HE is a bad business person...ok....but HBO as a whole did the right thing IMO.....at least the reasoning they gave worked for me.....
