Since we're arguing semantics, Mayweather fought a 38 year old version of Mosley. Then the counter will be, well Mosley dominated Margarito, then the semantics creep back in and we can counter that Margarito had other pressing issues on his mind, like hand wraps and was facing distractions. Point still remains the same.
Remember Mayweather fought a 38 yr old Mosley that Manny wanted no part of so what does that say about Manny? Manny didnt fight the champion@147 Floyd did and to top that off Manny still wants no part of the almost 39 yr old Mosley but wants to fight the guy Mosley destroyed. Dude, a farce is a farce and Manny is an undefendable farce.

Golden boy and Top Rank have smoothed the negotiations, the only hold up is bitchass Floyd not wanting to fight. It's irritating to see you *****s still try and defend him. What do you mean Top Rank has no intention of facing Floyd? They've been pushing for the fight for the past month and Floyd is talkin about retirement and ****. Get the fck out of here with tha

Haha, a Mosley who had been out of the ring for nearly a year and a half? A 38 year old prizefighter who was inactive. Lol Manny would decapitate Mosley, Shane looked completely gassed after 3 rounds against Mayweather, his time is done

Do you hear anything from the contrary by GBP? If TR were bull****ting I'm sure Shaeffer would be on the phone telling the world they hadn't approved the contract. GBP are like that. Recently some quotes were attributed to Oscar and immediately GBP's press office were on it and Shaeffer and Oscar dismissed the quotes. They have not disputed anything Arum has said. Floyd doesn't want to fight, it's quite plain for anyone with a clear mind

Dont kid yourself no one bothers themselves with Arum anymore, Dont expect GBP to come out and issue statements denying Arum's BS. They know sensible people knows Arum is a joke so no need to issue statements to please any ******s who cant see through Arum.

So what is really the story then? Floyd has become a MUTE.

Silence...ironically from the guy who loves to hear the sound of his own voice. Paint him into a corner with respect to public perception and let's see him shoulder roll out of this one.

Don't really understand what semantics have to do with it. I guess the old adage about a fighter only being as good as their corner holds no water in your world. I was simply pointing out the business sav of taking on Cotto, who in your own words was a lesser version of his prior self- now add the fact that he had a new and inexperienced corner. Top it off with a catchweight and viola! Same sav in picking Clottey who had proved once and for all that he is a passive/defensive minded fighter who is not willing to close the show under any circumstances. Now add in the fact that his corner has been denied work visas to enter the country. Vulnerability is a seller. I'm not hating on Pac. Cotto and Clottey sold themselves out.
